Jeans, jeans, the magical fruit, the more you wear the more you…. want to buy more and more in many different styles and washes. Ok, that doesn’t rhyme, but it’s true and 100% veracity is my pledge to you!
Let’s talk about jeans.
That’s me in the photo. You can see I look very happy in my jeans. If not happy, then at least clothed. A better example is my friend Jessica who bought new jeans today and felt so good in them – I know that feeling well, I have many many pairs of jeans from size 30 (when Dad died and I drowned my sorrows in chocolate) to size 26 (when I dated this really skinny guy who always seemed to be skinnier and daintier than me – argh! I had to win). Mostly I’m about a size 28. What mainly lead me to this topic though was cleaning out my jeans collection yesterday, which was a gala event. During my own personal runway show I tried on every single pair of jeans(that I could fit into) and determined whether they went into the Keep But Store Away Cuz They Don’t Fit pile or the Currently Using pile or the These Jeans Don’t Actually Look Good On Me And I Will Never Allow Them To Sully My Image Again pile. I tried to be very honest, especially with how my butt looked in them, it’s taken enough abuse lately. :/
Some of the parameters that you can mess with to find jeans that you love, for many different aspects of your life such as: strolls along the pacific ocean, sipping a chai latte on Haight & Ashbury, your company picnic, and dancing on stage at night clubs; are washes, length, leg width, pockets, rips, and other embellishments.
I will discourse more on this topic in my next post. Right now I am sleepy. Goodnight! xo
What a day!!!!!!!!!! I’m exhausted. I can’t get the dog to pee today and class was a joke, a four hour joke. What’s going on with my dog? I was in a rush to get ready for class this morning and I take her for a walk so she can do her biz and nothing happens, we just walk and walk and walk. I figure she is playing doggy games with me, so I let her know my displeasure before I leave for class. I get home 5 hours later and take her for a loooooooooong long walk, still nothing! How is it even possible to hold it that long? I shuffled around my entire 2 story home on my hands and knees feeling the carpets to see if they were wet anywhere. Awesome, that’s exactly what I felt like doing after four hours of insanity at school.
True story: My Prof Knows Nothing. I am pretty sure that he knows that Dreamweaver is a product which allows you to create and manage webpages, but that seems to be the extent of it. All through class the students who had never seen Dreamweaver before three weeks ago were telling him how to fix all the mistakes he was making, were solving the problems he couldn’t solve, and were asking him questions he couldn’t answer. Several large errors came up that showed he had a complete lack of understanding of the fundamental principles of the program. Even simple things like ‘dragging & dropping’ took him many long and arduous tries. We all laughed and shook our heads, but honestly I have zero clue how this guy thought he could teach a class on a computer program, when he has a very weak understanding of not only computer programs, but anything associated with how they or the internet work. Not that I’m upset by any of this, I’m just boggled.
The cherry on the exhaustion cake is that I’m still recovering from being really sick over the weekend – I spent my Saturday night in Urgent Care with acute pain in my jaw, teeth, ear, and neck from a bad inner ear and canal infection. They gave me a shot in my buttock to reduce the pain and that did work – after that I didn’t feel anything else I was so fixated with the pain in my butt.
I’m dedicating this first post to my beloved friend Jessica Lee, who inspired me to blog again after reading her sweet and endearing blog.
I have some excellent news and some not so excellent news. The latter is that Ryan got called to fly earlier today and so I’m all alone again – waaaaaaa! Supposedly he’s home tomorrow night, but that often doesn’t happen. *heavy sigh* :/ Don’t think I’m being complacent though, we’re working on starting our own charter company, so that we can fly together! I suppose that will be fun, spending every living breathing moment together.
Ick! My hands have been so sweaty lately I can barely type. Sorry for the gross visual, but it’s driving me nuts. Maybe cuz it’s so hot lately? Maybe the green tea I’m drinking? Maybe because I’m alive and have hands? Who can truly say?
The excellent thing is really two things: 1) my moccasins arrived in the mail as did my gel skins for my G1, and 2) I was able to put my earring back in it’s hole, it didn’t close over after all! Now it doesn’t have to be repierced, which wudda been a hassle and hurt a lot. Plus, I was very worried, with no just cause, that it would be pierced asymmetrically from my other ear piercing and that sort of thing bothers me.
So, these are the mocs that I got. I realize this sort of Native American fashion isn’t for everyone, but my Mom really detests it and I think that makes it more appealing to me. Hehehe! I do really love my huge yummy furry mukluks in the winter and I was missing being able to wear them in the Summer, so this was my answer to the problem. They are super comfy to wear and it only takes a bit of delusion to think you look kinda cute in them too.
